Garden Sanctuary
In 2017, Baba’s Yard Garden Sanctuary was established on land purchased from the Cuyahoga County Land Bank. Our first improvement of the property was planting a tart cherry tree in its center.
Since then, our collection of varietal specimens has grown to include dozens of varieties of berry bushes and dwarf fruit trees. We hope to demonstrate the possibilities of edible landscaping and the idea of an urban food forest.
In addition to providing an oasis of nature in our community, Baba’s Garden Sanctuary serves as a distribution location for our Tuesday Lunches.
